Ingredients
A gentle internal broom. Lightness in 24 hours.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Claire's soothing mucilage blooming method.
Brew Warm Ginger & Turmeric Tea
Steep 1 teaspoon of freshly grated ginger root and 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder in 1 cup (240ml) of hot water for 5 minutes. Strain into your favorite glass mug until comfortably warm (not scalding).
Add Organic Chia Seeds
Add 2 tablespoons (24g) of whole black chia seeds into the warm tea. Use a spoon to give them an immediate thorough stir so they do not clump at the bottom.
Squeeze Fresh Lemon & Optional Honey
Squeeze in the fresh juice from half a lemon (about 1 tbsp / 15ml). Add 1 teaspoon of raw honey if desired for natural taste and enzymes. Stir once more.
Let Seeds Bloom for 10 Minutes
Allow the mixture to rest undisturbed for 10 minutes. As the chia seeds hydrate in the warm liquid, they expand up to 10 times their weight, forming a rich, silky mucilage gel that soothes the gut wall.
Stir Gently & Drink First Thing in the Morning
Stir gently and drink warm on an empty stomach (or before your morning meal). Feel your stomach lighten and inflammation dissipate within 24 hours!
